I've done this one twice entirely barefoot and it's a good one for people considering their first barefoot marathon - however be prepared. At mile 21, it gets gravelly on the road and then by 23 you move on to Hove promenade which is a very challenging surface, especially at that distance in on a road marathon. Many of the local barefoot runners refer to it as cheese grating! My advice, just go slow here and take your time, mile 25 goes back on to the main road which is smooth sailing from there on out!
