I'd say this is a course for the more seasoned barefoot runner. Although not hilly per-se (aside from the big one at the end) it is extremely undulating and each time I've done it It's been very muddy over much of the route. Although it by no means fully covered in gravel, there is enough that by the end of 15 miles you know about it (esp under one of the many muddy points) - the gravel that's down is my nemesis - grade 1 hardcore, just slightly smaller than golf ball size, irregularly shaped stones. Because of the play of light through the trees it can be difficult to choose foot placement (I just can't see that we'll in dappled light).
All in, a great and challenging run and we'll worth doing. Plus you get locally brewed beer and lots of home made cake at the end! The goody bags are also very good!
